My Story
I’ve been performing magic for over 10 years, specializing in close-up magic for intimate events and larger stage shows for corporate clients. I blend humor, mystery, and audience interaction to create memorable experiences. One of the moments that pushed me toward performing for audiences came during a community workshop where I used a small magic demonstration to help people remember critical steps — and the positive reaction convinced me to pursue magic more seriously.
Before the Magic
Before becoming a magician, Donald discovered his passion for competitive fencing. He started fencing in 1974 and quickly rose through the ranks — by 1982 he was a finalist in the Men's Foil National Championship and later earned a place on the United States Olympic Fencing Squad. Competitive fencing taught him discipline, timing, and presence — traits he later brought to his performances as The Great Dondini.
Unfortunately, a back injury brought an end to competitive fencing. Fortunately, that same drive led him to another stage — magic.
